AFM Ultra foam dressings were designed for circumstances where copious drainage is anticipated and protection from trauma may also be also important. The proprietary Active Fluid Management® technology pumps fluid in one direction through the AFM layer into an ultra-high capacity foam reservoir and holds it away from the patient, maintaining a moist wound environment.
